It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mother, Patricia Louise Forbes. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, whose love and kindness touched the lives of everyone she met. Pat passed away with loved ones by her side on October 3, 2024, at the age of 79 years old
Born on July 16, 1945, in Drumheller, Alberta, Pat was the daughter of Anne Roblick and Roy McCutcheon. She grew up in Drumheller where she developed a passion for gardening, crocheting, cheering on the Montreal Canadians and walking all around Drumheller. Pat was born and raised in Drumheller, and she spent her entire life raising her family in the valley. Pat raised 3 beautiful daughters, and she was the most amazing Nanny to her 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Her daughters and grandchildren all fondly recall their summers with Pat, her love for flowers, tea, snacks and endless loving hugs.
As a Mother and Nan, Pat was a guiding light in our lives. She had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel special, often sharing stories and wisdom that will stay with us forever. Her warmth and laughter filled every room, and her love was a constant source of strength for our family.
Pat will forever be cherished by her family and friends. Her three daughters; Terri (Dennis), Sherri (Rob) and Lisa (Mike). Grandchildren; Micheal, Brandy (Tyson), Jordan, Christopher (Nicole), Ashley (Colton), Amber, Stephanie (Andrew) and Sarah (Neil). Great grandchildren; Peyton, Olivia, Macie, Silas and Eligh. As well as many other loving family members.
Pat was predeceased by her parents Anne Roblick and Roy McCutcheon, her brother Robert and sister Jackie.
A private graveside burial will be held in Drumheller. We ask all who knew her to join us in honoring her memory and sharing stories of the joy she brought into our lives.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Grace House in her memory.
Rest in peace, dear Nan. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
