Comforted by so many cherished memories include 4 daughters: Marietta (Greg), Virginia, Susanna & Tessa (Steffen), 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren & many Crofton family members in Canada, brother Michael (Mila) & 2 dear childhood friends Mary & Jill in England.
Patricia was “Little Pat” to our father “Big Pat”, Patrick (1935-2017). Theirs was a love of the ages: meeting in London & engaged within the month, marrying in 1958 & building a busy life & family together over almost 60 years, the best of friends and a true example of a partnership that permitted each their passions. Mum was a creative spirit and loved a good laugh, she was devoted to her family and animals. A weaver, spinner, author, fundraiser, volunteer, sculptor, gardener & avid reader of biographies, she was also an ardent fan of Murder She Wrote, Dogs with Jobs and All Creatures Great and Small. She loved life on the farm surrounded by her sheep & aviary. She would be the first to say she lived a very happy life.
We would like to thank all the wonderful Careworkers ( Mary, Trish, Gloria & June) and friends who nurtured the spark of her soul, even as she progressed through the journey of Alzheimer’s disease, you were a blessing to us all. We like to imagine Pat & Pat together again, walking through the fields of BallyMurry Farm followed by their menagerie of beloved pets. Enjoy the peace of togetherness because, after all, one day we will all be coming home again!
