It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Patricia Hughes, nee Hamilton, of L’Orignal, Ontario, on Monday, February 5, 2023, at the age of 88. Loving wife of the late Gordon Smith Hughes. Daughter of the late Francis Hamilton and the late Jane Kirby. Dear mother of Alan (Kathryn Hiscock), Scott, Lee Anna (Hans Brucker) and Jennifer (Clarke Addison). Also survived by her sister Susan Nora Brown and two nephews, Jim and Stephen Kitchen.In order to respect Patricia’s last wishes, everything will be conducted in private.
The family wishes to express gratitude to the staff of Heritage Lodge Residence of Vankleek Hill and the Hawkesbury District General Hospital for their compassion and devoted care. We also wish to express a heartfelt thank you to Jody Turvey, our mother’s Personal Caregiver for the past several years, for her dedication and love.
