1943-2023
Patricia Kendrick, 80, of Riverview, NB passed away
peacefully on July 13th, 2023 at the Moncton City Hospital, with her
son and his wife by her side.
She was born in Moncton on June 26th, 1943, the
daughter of the late Clifton and Lottie (Crossman)
Swan.
Patricia was a dedicated and compassionate employee at
Spencer’s Memorial Home for 18 years. She was devoted to her
faith and attended the Moncton Wesleyan Church when she was
able. Throughout Pat’s life she had her shares of struggles
and triumphs; it was her faith and love of family that kept her going.
Her children Scott and Craig were her world and so were her
grandchildren, she would do anything for them and loved when they came
home for visits. Pat would not want a lot of tears, but for her family
to remember the good times and to continue on living, laughing, and
loving.
She will be deeply missed by her son, Craig Naylor
(Jane) of Ontario; her cherished grandchildren, Jena, Logan
and Daniel; by her sisters, Ruth Wilbur (Harold) of Campbellton and
Merilyn Swan of Riverview. She will also be missed by
several nieces and nephews, by all her extended family and her close
friends at 7 Point Park Drive.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Sheldon Kendrick; son Scott Naylor; sisters, Janet MacDonald and
Shirley MacMillian.
Honouring Patricia’s own wishes, there will be no
visitation or funeral service. Interment will be held at Fairhaven
Memorial Gardens, Moncton, NB at a later
date.
In Patricia’s memory, donations to the Friends of the
Moncton Hospital- Palliative Care would be greatly
appreciated.
The family would like to take this opportunity to say a
special thank you to all the staff of the Grass Home in Riverview and
all the doctors and nurses in Palliative Care at the Moncton
Hospital. Your kind and caring ways will not be
forgotten.
