It is with sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Pasquale Del Conte on Sunday, July 7, 2024 in his 93rd year surrounded by his family. For 68 years, he had the love of his life Vilma Del Conte by his side and will continue to be forever in her heart. He was a devoted father to Joe and Joanne Del Conte, Rob and Pam Del Conte and David and Carmelinda Del Conte. Cherished grandfather to Nick Del Conte and Tiffany, Jacqueline and Christopher Mauro and Matthew Del Conte; Jordan Del Conte and Courtney and Alexandria Del Conte and Nick; and Daniel Del Conte and Jillian and Thomas Del Conte. A proud bisnonno to Rachel Mauro. Dad was born in Popoli, Pescara, Italy to the late Nicola and Giuseppina Del Conte. Dear brother and brother-in-law to the late Lucia Del Conte and Ottavio Cialone, Francesca Del Conte and the late Enrico Ciampa, the late Gabriele and Anna Del Conte, Velia and the late Antonio Del Conte and brother-in-law to the late Sonia and Armando Domenicucci and Clelia and the late Giovanni Assogna. Dad cherished all his nieces and nephews in Hamilton and in Italy. Dad was a bricklayer by trade. He was a long-time member of the Associazione Nazionale Alpini Sezione di Hamilton and Federazione Abruzzese di Hamilton.
A heartfelt thank you to all the doctors, nurses and PSWs who cared for our dad at Juravinski Cancer Clinic and Satellite Health Facility.
Visitation will take place at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Rd. East on Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service to take place in the Chapel at the funeral home on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 11a.m. Entombment to take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington.

Our dad truly lived by the words ‘sempre famiglia’ always there whenever we needed anything. Even at 90 when he put his bricklaying experience to work for one of his grandsons. Riposa in pace papà.
