It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Pamela Grace Michor (née Rankine), an amazing mother, the world’s best Nana, and a truly great person. She left this world on May 2, 2024, after a very short battle with cancer, at the age of 65.
Pam was the mother to Erin (Dan), their 3 children Rylee, Parker, and Brooke, and Adam (Pip), their daughter Skyllar, Jesse (Kasey), and their 2 children Jack, and Elise. She will be remembered by her siblings, her sister Cheryl, and brothers Dave (Ella), and Michael (Dianne). She was quite fond of many others in her life from friends, neighbours, work colleagues, and non-blood family members (Teeples).
Pam was born and raised in Hamilton Ontario. Lived in the Rosedale area before moving to Dundas. She attended high school at Sherwood Secondary, worked for the Red Cross as a phlebotomist, and in more recent years enjoyed her time working at Liburdi.
Pam loved to garden and spend time with her grandchildren. Though she was a lifeguard in her younger years, she was not a fan of swimming or water, however she absolutely loved to watch the grandchildren play in the pool or play at the beach. Pam had a soft spot for cats (Pinky) and dogs (Connor, Teddy, and Bailey) and she loved instrumental music (she herself played the flute growing up). Additionally, she was also a very talented painter.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the RBG Rock Garden in Burlington Ontario on Wednesday June 19th, 2024, from 6 pm-8 pm. The «outdoor» gardens close at 6 pm, please feel free to come at 5 pm or earlier, if you would like to enjoy a nice walk around the gardens, as it was one of her favorite places to be.
She will be forever loved and forever missed.
