Obituary
Passed away peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services – Southampton, Ontario, with his wife by his side on Monday, September 11, 2023. Born in Derby Township on September 17, 1948, Norville Murray John Mundle of Tara, was in his 75th year.
Left to carry on, his wife of 40 years, Bonnie (nee – McGregor) and his cherished daughter Amy (Chris Graves). Proud grandpa of Mason, Ashton, Preston, and to the many furbabies over the years.
Norville will also be remembered dearly by nieces and nephews; Wayne Mundle (Elaine), Maxine Crawford (Doug), Paul Mundle (Nancy), Susan Beattie (Al), Kelly Mundle, Toni Callaghan (Patrick), and Todd McGregor (Stephanie). Norville will also be missed by his many great nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Elma Mundle (nee Barfoot), brothers; Milton (Marie), Leonard (Brenda, Carol), and Lloyd (Marie Cathrae). Also, by nephew Terry and nieces, Marsha and Nancy.
Norville not only enjoyed watching the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Blue Jays, but was involved in coaching Broomball and Fastball in Kilsyth and Owen Sound. He also helped organize the Canadian Fastball Tournaments in Owen Sound for many years. Later on after retiring he looked forward to heading out to the trailer every spring and enjoying a beer with too many friends to name.
A funeral service to celebrate Norville’s life will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Monday, September 18th, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Followed by a reception at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Hillcrest Cemetery, Tara.
