Norbert «Norm» Doucette Obituary
Norm was born in Rosthern, SK and moved to Penticton, BC at the age of 11. In 1950, the family moved to Salmon Arm, BC.
He worked for the department of highways for 24 years until retirement in 1986. In the mid 70’s, Norm met his soulmate Alice Carruthers and they were together until her death in 2001.
Norm loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and hunting. He enjoyed being with people and was an exceptional storyteller.
A heartfelt thanks to Doctor Skubiak and all the staff at Bastion Place for their care and kindness to Norm.
A memorial service will be held on January 30th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Bowers Funeral Home Chapel.
