Ninh Van Dao
October 10, 1952 –
November 17, 2024
Ninh Van Dao passed away on the evening of November 17, 2024, at the age of 72 after a long battle with cancer. Ninh, son of Doa Van Dao and Doan Thi Luu, was born on October 10, 1952, in Bac Ninh, Vietnam. Ninh immigrated to Canada in search of a better life with his family in 1990. He is survived by his wife Dung Le, daughter Thuy Thi Dao, and son Chung Van Dao. He is also survived by five grandchildren living in the Hamilton and Windsor area.
Ninh was a fun-loving and carefree spirit who enjoyed books, movies, palm reading, exploring technology, spending time with friends, and his trips to Vietnam to visit loved ones. Ninh was a doting grandfather who found joy in spoiling his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will take place on Sunday November 24, 2024, between 11 AM to 3 PM at Bay Gardens Funeral Home. A Buddhist funeral service to honour and celebrate Ninh’s life will be held at 1 PM on Monday November 25, 2024, at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, followed by the burial at his final resting place at Mount Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton, Ontario.
The family respectfully declines monetary gifts.
The Dao Family would like to extend sincerest gratitude for the heartfelt outpouring of condolences, love, and support during this time of mourning. Please join them in remembering and celebrating the life of Ninh Van Dao, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, relative, and friend. May his soul find eternal peace.
