Madeleine Nicholls, 90, of Kelowna, BC, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.
Madeleine was predeceased by her loving husband and best friend, Kenneth Roy and sons Kody and Mickey Nicholls. Mom is survived by her sons, Shane (Kathy), Lance (Jan) and Jayeson (Adeline), along with 10 Grandchildren and 20.5 Great-Grandchildren.
In her final days, Granny was able to tell all her family members how much she loved them. We, in return, were able to tell her how much we loved her.
Granny gave us each a piece or two of solid advice. She blessed each one of us with holy water. We all had loving conversations with her about the many important Nicholls Family traditions and how we, as her family, will carry these on. We are all so grateful for the family that she and Papa (Ken) created and the importance of family that they instilled in each of us.
Granny, we are so overjoyed that you are with Papa again; you have waited so long to see him.
Madeleine, Mom, Granny, Great-Granny you will be truly missed and will be in our hearts and thoughts forever.

We would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Interior Health Home Support for all their help in keeping Granny comfortable in her own home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
A Celebration of Life and Funeral Service will be held on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2023, at 10:30 AM (PST), at ST. CHARLES GARNIER PARISH (3645 Benvoulin Rd, Kelowna, BC) with Father Wayne presiding. Reception to follow. If you are unable to attend in person, please join the family online by Livestream at the time of the service (see below), a recording will be made available to view shortly thereafter.
