Obituary
Nelson passed away peacefully at Summit Place on Saturday, February 18, 2023. Born on March 2nd, 1929, Nelson Lavern Jenings of Owen Sound, was in his 94th year.
Dearly loved husband and best friend of Maude Jenings (née Cammidge) for 71 years. Loving father of Greg Jenings (Laurie), Delynn Cutting (Doug) and Darryl Jenings. Proud grandfather of Justin, Devin (Tawania), Denae and great-grandfather of Bella and Charles. Dear brother of Betty Adair and brother-in-law of Shirley Jenings. Nelson will be missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents George and Mamie Jenings, his siblings, Harold Jenings, Gordon Jenings (Dolores), his brother-in-law, Gordon Adair.
Cremation has taken place. There will not be any service at this time. Arrangements entrusted to the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th Street West, Owen Sound (519) 376-7492.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Chapman House Hospice would be appreciated.
