BUTT, Nellie M. (nee Ralph) – Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on Friday, February 10, 2023, in the presence of her loving daughter, Nellie M. Butt age 94 years.
Predeceased by her parents: Heber and Annie Ralph; husband Guy; son Morris, grandson David; sisters: Madeline (Gord) and Stella (Lawrence); sister-in-law Vera (Hector); brother-in-law George (Hazel).
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Linda Nash (Bert); daughter-in-law Doris; grandsons: Gordon (Joanne) and Michael (Amanda); grand daughter Andrea (Phil); 5 great grandchildren: Moira, Matthew, Miranda, Henry and Isabel; sister Mary (Albert-deceased); brother Ron (Bonnie); a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Special thank you to Dr. Patrick O’Shea and the staff and nurses at 3 West, St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, for their compassion and care over the past 11 years.
Visitation to be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
Funeral service to be held at Barrett’s Mount Pearl Chapel on Monday, February 11, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. For those who cannot attend in person the service will be lived streamed. You can find the link at www.barretts.ca. Interment to follow at United Church Cemetery, Winter Brook, NL at a later date.
