Nancy Elaine MacIntyre, 68, of Brockville, Ontario, was rushed to the hospital on January 22, 2024 after suffering a medical episode when heading out for lunch with a friend. Sadly after several days in hospital, she passed away on January 24th , 2024 with her family by her side.
For those of you who knew Nancy, you’d remember her bubbly personality and caring & compassionate nature. She’d always «tell it like it is», but it came from a good place. She loved her family and friends deeply and held all of them close and in high regard. If you ever asked her to help, she would, no questions asked.
Nancy was predeceased by her mother Joan Knapp Kelly, and her father Leland MacIntyre. She is survived by her sisters, Susan Miller (Ray), and Debra Vallentgoed (Gary Dunklin), her daughter Lisa Sills, and son Dan Sills (Crystal), her grandchildren Dillon, Tyler, Zachary, Jayden, Aidan and Chloe, as well as several great-grandchildren.
In the true spirit of Nancy, a celebration of Nancy’s life will be held as follows:
LOCATION: 1000 Islands Brewing (private back room), 65 King Street West, Brockville
DATE: Saturday February 3, 2024
TIME: 2:00pm until 6:00pm
We would ask those that knew Nancy, to record a short video of any of their favorite times with Nancy, or memories they have of her. These clips will not only be a wonderful keepsake for the family, but will be shared during the celebration of life on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made on behalf of Nancy towards Breast Cancer Action Kingston or to the Canadian Cancer Socirty, organizations Nancy felt strongly about.
