It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Nabil Ibrahim. Surrounded by his loved ones, Nabil went home to be with the Lord on February 15, 2023, in his 74th year.
Cherished husband of Wafa. Loving father of Lena, Tania (Stephen) & Julie. Proud grandfather of Lucas, Andrew, Grace & Mila. Devoted brother to late Julia, late Antoine, George, Josephine, Hind, Joseph, Kamil & Ramzi. He will be lovingly remembered by his extended family and will be sadly missed by countless friends.
A proud Syrian Canadian with a quick wit and sharp sense of humor. A true intellectual who loved life, his home was where his family always gathered and cherished time together. A mentor to his brothers, nieces and nephews always there to help his loved ones.
Family and friends will be received at the St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church (9116 Bayview Ave, Richmond Hill) on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church (9116 Bayview Ave, Richmond Hill) on February 18, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. Burial to follow at Beechwood Cemetery in Vaughan.
