GRIMSTER, Myrnie (nee Greason)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Myrnie «Myrn» Grimster on Friday, January 6, 2023, in her 89th year.
Loving wife of Donald Sr. (predeceased in 2017) and dedicated mom to Donald Jr. (Louise) and Tina Chapman (Brodie). Gramma to Cory Grimster, Lindsay Grimster (Nathan Ward), Cody Gauthier (Amy Plant), Matthew Chapman (Laura) and Jordan Chapman. Predeceased by her grandson Dustin Gauthier.
She was the Great Gramma to Ethan Ambeau, Eddy Ward, Thomas Roberts Gauthier, Glen Gauthier and Lucy Chapman.
Myrnie is survived by her siblings Jack Greason (Eileen), Grant Greason and Denny Greason (Wendy); as well as Aunt and Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
The family is forever grateful to Dr. Michael Leckie for his many years of dedicated medical care; Dr. Stacey, Dr. Moore and Dr. Halpert for their care and compassion for Mom and the staff at Nipissing Serenity Hospice. Sandra Carriere, the Nurses and PSWs at NSH were outstanding and we can never thank you enough.
The time has come Mom to join your handsome sailor! You will be forever in our hearts. Until we meet again!
Family receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Rd, on Wednesday January 11th from 6 until 8 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice.
