Obituary
Passed away peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound on Monday, September 4, 2023. Born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan on January 9, 1941, Myrna June Freiburger (nee Veer) of Owen Sound, was in her 83rd year.
Beloved wife of the late Jerry Freiburger. Loving mother of Alana Freiburger of Kitchener and Mary (John) Huenemoerder of Mitchell. Cherished grandmother of Jamie, Erin (Brandon), Scott (Chelsey) and great-grandmother to 5 great-grandchildren. Sister of Shirley McKinstry and Judy (Larry) Pahl, both of Saskatchewan. Myrna will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her parents David and Tena Veer, and brothers Bruce Veer and Richard “Gib” Veer.
Myrna loved doing crafts and had an endless craftroom in which to work on her creations.
In keeping with Myrna’s wishes, cremation is taking place and a graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
