Obituary of Murriel Frances Brine
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Murriel Frances Brine. After her retirement, she and her loving husband left Ontario to set up their residence in Geary, NB in 1999, where they enjoyed their retirement life.
Murriel was predeceased by her husband, Harold Brine, who passed in 2023, whom she missed terribly. She was also predeceased by her father George Campbell; son Ronald Paul Vigneux; mother Margaret Blyth; sister Myrtle Weese-Typhair.
Murriel will be greatly missed by her sister, Vicky Grosjean; brother, Fred (Karen); daughter, Bonnie Cole; grandson, Darren (Sheri) Cole and great grandson, Andrew; granddaughter, LuAnne Cole (Katie); “adopted” grandson, Jody. She will also be missed by her many cousins, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Murriel made numerous friends over the past year at the Enhanced Living Oromocto home who will miss her as well as the staff at the home. Appreciation goes out to the home’s staff from the family.
Cremation has already taken place and as per Murriel’s wishes there will be no service. She will be laid to rest in the Mapleton Cemetery in Nova Scotia where she will be with her beloved husband again.
In lieu of flowers, any donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
