Passed away peacefully in his 65th year at Cortellucci Hospital in Vaughan on Tuesday October 3rd, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Predeceased by his parents, Firth (1995) and Dorothy Varey (2008). Dear brother to Sharon (Ben) Hutchinson, Wayne Varey, and Sandra (Randy) Copeland. Predeceased by his brother Elwood Varey (2009). Brother-in-law to Colleen. Loving uncle to his nephews and nieces. Special friend to Dianne Thompson and her family.
Morris lived a quiet life in Tottenham the past few years. He was never happier than when he was visiting with family and friends. He loved a good home cooked meal and always appreciated an invite to lunch or dinner. Morris was an avid Toronto Maple Leaf fan. He never lost hope that they would win the Stanley Cup again.
We are grateful to the incredible team of nurses and doctors in the ICU at Cortellucci Hospital for their care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place. A private family interment at St. John’s Cemetery, Mono, will be held.
