It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Richard Morris of Meaford, Ontario. Richard passed peacefully at the Owen Sound Hospital on the morning of Friday, March 22nd, 2024 at the age of 79.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Marilyn Morris, and by his family and friends.
Richard spent his career in Toronto teaching and mentoring. His hobbies: car racing, sailing, skiing, running, cycling and woodworking kept him active. Richard and Marilyn chose to retire to Meaford. He poured his heart into the creation of the ‘great room’ at their home. Many had the pleasure of enjoying a visit in this wonderful space. Richard was an active community volunteer, spending countless hours assisting with the Scarecrow Invasion, Community Living and the Meaford United Church.
A private family service will take place later this year.
