Mona Gail Rombough, 96, of Owen Sound, Ontario and life long resident of Prescott, Ontario passed away peacefully with her family at her side on August 12th, 2024 after a lengthy illness. Mona was born on May 4th, 1928 to Clifford and Edith Scott in Prescott. Predeceased by her sisters Olive Dooley and Helen Armstrong and brothers Maynard (Bud) Scott and Richard (Dick) Scott. She married William (Eck) Rombough in 1948. Predeceased by her husband in 2005 and her son, Scott in 2002. She worked for many years at Newell’s Manufacturing in Prescott helping support her family. She enjoyed outings with her many friends, shopping, traveling and reminiscing about times passed. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Van Schie (Peter) granddaughters Sarah Ross (Mike), Amy Wright (Eric) and great grandkids, Meghan and Alanna Ross, Griffin and Bishop Wright and will be missed by all. Interment will be held at Sandy Hill Cemetery in Prescott on September 27th at 11:00am followed by a celebration of life at the Prescott Golf Club.
