Obituary
Milford passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side, at the Chapman House Hospice, on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. Born on April 13, 1934, Russel Milford Loucks of Owen Sound was in his 90th year.
Dearly loved husband and best friend of the late Geraldine Loucks (nee Best) for more than 64 years. Loving father of John Loucks (Kathryn) of Bolton and Lynne McGregor (Peter), of Owen Sound. Dearly loved by his grandchildren, Jodi, Cory (Julia), Sam and Emma, and great-grandfather of Karter and Kaleb, who all held a special place in his heart. Milford was the third youngest of 11 children and grew up on a farm near Flesherton. He is survived by his brother, Cliff Loucks (Ineke) and his sisters-in-law, Marie, Sandra and Margaret. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Edwin and Mildred Loucks, his siblings, George (Marie), Norman (Mary and Mary), Jack (Edna), Doris Cunningham (Archie), Jean Merla (Sylvio), Carman, Verna Almond (Raeburn), Ross and Ronald.
A Funeral Service for Milford Loucks will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario 519-376-7492 on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with David Fries officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Chapman House Hospice would be appreciated.
