It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mildred Bernice Regula, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Mildred, affectionately known as «Millie,» departed this world on Sunday November 5th. She was 82. A devoted mother, wife, daughter and friend, Millie spent her life filled with love and compassion, always putting the needs of others ahead of her own.
She was a devoted wife to her husband, Gordon Regula, and together they shared a beautiful life together for over six decades. Their bond was an enduring testament to the power of love, dedication and teamwork.
Millie was a loving mother to Kelly (Trevor) and Jason (Pamela). She watched her children grow and thrive with unwavering support and pride. Her grandchildren Oliver, William, and Alexander held a special place in her heart, and she reveled in the joy they brought to her life.
Millie’s warm and caring personality touched the lives of many. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and listening ear not to mention her gardening prowess and foraging skills!
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Millie’s life will be held at Holy Redeemer Parish on Saturday, November 18th, at 11:00 a.m. We invite all friends and family to join us in paying tribute to a life well-lived, a heart that knew only love, and a spirit that will live on in the memories of those she left behind. A reception will follow at Seasons Funeral Service in Oakbank.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Parkinson Canada in honor of Mildred Bernice Regula. Her battle with Parkinson’s disease was a testament to her strength and determination, and contributing to this cause would be a meaningful way to commemorate her life.
