It is with great sadness that the family of Mike Yaremchuk, husband of Betty Yaremchuk, of Endeavour, announce his passing on Monday, November 20, 2023. He was 77 years of age.
As per Mike’s wishes, there will be no service at this time.
Mike was born on October 31, Halloween Day, in 1946.
He spent his young life on the family farm then went on to work in Regina in a mechanical shop and fuel station. Staying in the Regina area, he worked for a large farmer for a spell before coming back to the Endeavour area were he was married and started out logging with our grandfather, John Palagian. Mike also worked for a close family friend, Louis Danyluk, and then, with his son, Glenn, till his retirement. He spent lots of his time keeping busy building all kinds of things, cutting firewood till a stroke took that ability away from him. A few of his good memories were catching and raising a bear, feeding it ice cream and walking it on a leash as well as several hunting and some good fishing trips. He will be missed dearly.
Mike, predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Polly; daughters-in-law, Tracy Yaremchuk and Cindy Karpyk; son-in-law, Sabian Rodgers; and brother-in-law, Mike Proctor.
Mike is survived by his wife, Betty; four children, Glenn (Lori), Kris, Matt and Nicole (Tyler); sisters, Joann and Aldine (Mark); grandchildren, Logan (Jen ), Rikki, Lance ( Kat) and Nick ( Annie) and great-grandson, Parker as well as many nephews, nieces and great-nephews and nieces.
