It is with great sadness that we announce the passing
of Michel Joseph Bourque, which occurred Friday, March 17th, 2023, at
the Albert House in Moncton, at the age of 53. Born on November 17th,
1969, and residing in Shediac, he was the son of the late
Léonide (Boy) Bourque and Edith (Brun) Bourque, and the
loving husband of 28 years to his beloved wife Nathalie
(née Bourque).
Besides his wife and mother, Michel also leaves
behind, with wonderful memories, his beloved daughter, Brianna; a
brother, Marc (Tracy) of Cape-Pelé; two brother-in-law:
Stéphane (Pamela) Bourque, and Luc (Mélanie)
Bourque, both of Rothesay; three nephews: Joshua, Samuel, and Martin;
four nieces: Jessica, Emily, Valérie, and Judith; as well
as many aunts and uncles, countless cousins, good friends, and his two
cherished dogs, Molly and Bella.
Michel was a loving, caring, and devoted family man
and friend. He was an accountant for 22 years as the owner-operator of
Riverview Tax & Accounting. He was known to his clients for
his dedication and professionalism. Michel loved camping, NASCAR, and
music, but he especially loved to support and watch his daughter in
all the things she loved to do. He was known for his good sense of
humor, his cheerfulness, and his ability to make people smile. Michel
was always ready to lend a helping hand when it was
needed.
The family would like to thank everyone who offered
their love and support during these difficult times. A very special
thanks to the Albert House for the warm welcome and the professional
care.
The family will receive
condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street,
Shediac, on Tuesday March 21st, 2023, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm,
and Wednesday March 22nd, 2023, from 10 to 11:15 am. A
ceremony in his honor will be held in Shediac at the St-Joseph R.C.
Church, 415 Main Street, at 11:30 am on Wednesday March 22nd,
2023.
In memory of Michel, a donation to the
Albert House in Moncton would be
appreciated.
