Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the families of Michael Wallace Payne announce his passing at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Pt, NL, on Friday, December 13th, 2024, at the age of 76 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife; Violet nee McLeod, his children; Robert McLeod (Carolyn Gibson), Kevin (Pauline) Payne, Jacqueline Payne, and Carson (Terri-Lynn) Payne, his grandchildren; Dylan, Courtney, Deanna (Grant), Jonathan (Amanda), Jessica (Chris), Jerry (Faith), Dustin (Megan), Briana, and Tinika, his great grandchildren; Katelyn, Logan, Caleb, Hope, Lincoln, Delilah, Henry, and Michael, his brother; Doug Payne, his sister; Kathleen Pittman, his sister-in-law Jane Payne his daughter-in-law; Francine Payne , and his special nephew; Alonzo Pittman. Michael was predeceased by his parents; Alice and Donald Payne, his son; Morgan, his brother; Eric, and sister-in-law; Irene Payne, parent in laws Daniel & Carrie McLeod.
The family will be receiving family and friends at St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church in Cow Head, NL, on Sunday, December 15th, 2024, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Monday, December 16th, 2024, at 2:00 pm, with Rev: Terry Rose officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the church cemetery in Cow Head, NL.
