It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael Tsivikas at the age of 84. Michael was pre deceased by his parents Stelios and Despina, his siblings Emilia, Stamatis, Andreas, and Antoni and his beloved wife of 53 years, Helen. He is survived by his younger brother, Panayiotis, his three children Despina, Steve (Ernestina) and Ioanna and his four grandchildren he loved so much, Peter, Michael, Helen and Athena.
The family would like to thank all the staff at the Hellenic Home for the Aged in Scarborough and the ICU staff at Scarborough General Hospital.
Visitation will be held at Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St W on Monday July 22nd, 6pm -9pm.
The funeral will be held at The Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 136 Sorauren Av on Tues July 23 at 11 am. Burial will be followed at Park Lawn Cemetery, 2845 Bloor St W.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation in memory of Michael is made to the Hellenic Home for the Aged or to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
