MAHRT: Michael – passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at the St. Peter’s Hospital, Hamilton. Mike Mahrt of Hamilton and formerly of St. Williams in his 64th Year.
Beloved husband of Carol (Martin) Mahrt whom he married May 15, 1982. Dear father of Sarah (Matthew Leyland) of Hamilton and Brandon (Courtney Brown) of Beamsville. Sadly missed by his granddaughters Lily, Vera and Carolyn.
Predeceased by his parents Willy (1971) & Trudy ( 2006) (Stutz) Marht, step-father Jack Hazelwood (2007) and his brother Uwe (1995).
Mike was a Golf Professional and the owner/operator of the Mike Mahrt Golf Academy and Driving Range in St. Williams from 2000 until 2021.
Relatives and friends will be received in the Jeffrey W Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front Rd. Port Rowan on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 12 noon until the time of the service in the Clark Chapel at 2:00pm. Inurnment in Bayview Cemetery, Port Rowan.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family. Personal condolences can be posted at www,gffh.ca
