It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on May 23, 2023, at the age of 55 years. Beloved son of Dave Leggett and Sharon (McNiffe) Leggett. Loving brother of Steve Leggett (Michelle). Predeceased by his brother Davey. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Mike was born in Toronto and moved to Sudbury at a very young age. He grew up Blezard Valley where he and his brothers went to school. In the winter, the family would turn their backyard into an ice rink so they may skate, play hockey and overall have a good time. In the summer, he would go pick blueberries with his brothers. In the fall, the boys would go hunting and all year round they would be training for boxing. Mike worked for Bell Canada for 35 years. He was a people person and truly cared for those around him. He got satisfaction from a job well done. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
