He is survived by his Mom, Chantal (Metson) & Kevin Aitchison, Dad Jeff & Tina Stewart, Grandparents – Louis & Bev Metson, Denise & Henry Hamelainen, Kerry & Sharon Stewart, G-Ma Aitchison, Siblings Kaitline Metson (Cody Norman) and her sons Maverick and Desmond Bockus, Michael Aitchison, Raine Stewart, Kasey Aitchison & Brooklynn Taylor and their son Clark.
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free
I followed the paths that were made for me
I took a hand, I heard a call
Then turned, and bid farewell to all.
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to sing, to play
Tasks left undone must stay that way
I found my peace … on that day.
And if my parting makes you feel sad
Then fill it with memories that we had
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Ah yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened… deep with sorrow
I wish you sunshine of tomorrow
My life’s been full I’ve savoured so much
Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief
Lift up your hearts and smile for me
I am needed elsewhere, I AM FREE.
