Obituary
Surrounded by his family Mervin Allan Pilgrim passed away peacefully at his home in Hampden, on Monday, March 27, 2023 at the age of 76 years.
Born to and predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Lynetta Pilgrim.
In 1975, Mervin married his love and partner for life, Beverly. They spent nearly 48 years happily married. They enjoyed life to the fullest and were the greatest parents and grandparents.
Mervin is survived by his children, who will miss him dearly. Son Dean and daughter Cindy and their three children, William, Kenneth and Jake.
He is survived by his six siblings, Edgar Pilgrim (Rowena), Lewis Pilgrim (Dorothy), Lovetta Langford, Merida Pilgrim, Henry Pilgrim (Pauline), Alvin Pilgrim (Nancy). As well as sister in law Sheila Felker (Bill), sister in law Karen Foote (Mike), brother in law Donald Denney (Annette), sister in law Christine Denney and brother in law Rick Denney (Jackee). As well as a large circle of nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.
He is predeceased by his brother Clayton Pilgrim, sister in law Dinah Pilgrim, sister Adelaide, half sister Lucy, and brother in law Llewelyn Langford. As well as his father in law and mother in law Ross and Jean Denney.
The family will be receiving family and friends at the Salvation Army Church, in Hampden, NL, on Thursday, March 30th, 2023, from 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Friday, March 31st, 2023, at 2:00 pm, with C.M.L. Sandra Pinksen, with the burial to follow at the Salvation Army section of the Hampden Community Cemetery in Hampden, NL.
