Obituary
Mr. Melvin Paton of Carnduff passed away at the Galloway Health Centre, Oxbow, SK. on Friday, April 14, 2023 at the age of 88.
Melvin is survived by his wife of 58 years, Donalee; two sons, Clinton (Sonya) and Curtis (Catherine); ten grandchildren, Kristie (Laurens), Taylor (Matt), Barrett (MacKenzie), Griffin, Gracee, Grayden, Tyson (Jacey), Connor, Kaden, and Carly; brother-in-law, Eldon Thompson; sisters-in-law, Marlene Thompson, Sharon Thompson, and Faye Thompson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, William Paton, mother, Cora Steenbrugen, step-father, John Steenbrugen; brother, Morris Paton; sister, Willene Ferguson; in-laws, Donald and Marjorie Thompson; brothers-in-law, Dale, George, and Garth Thompson; and numerous nieces.
The funeral service for Melvin will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, Carnduff, SK. on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Kathy Kyle officiating. The interment will follow at the Carnduff Cemetery.
