It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of May Boyer (née Laurin) with her loving husband by her side on Saturday, September 16th, 2023 at the Cornwall Community Hospital at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife for 56 years of Robert Boyer. Dear sister of Eva Barette (late Maurice) of Cornwall. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Victor Laurin and Laurica Laurin (née Gauthier) and by her siblings: Ernest Laurin, Richard Laurin (late Maxine) and Patricia Hardiman (Allen). As per May’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will take place at Nativity Co-Cathedral on Saturday, September 30th, 2023 at 11 a.m. A private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of choice. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888).
