GOREHAM, Maurice Roger – 75, of Lockeport, formerly of Woods Harbour, passed away September 9, 2023, at “His Home” at Surf Lodge in Lockeport. Maurice was born January 21, 1948, to the late Lowell and Rachel Goreham. He is survived by his sister, Rosemarie; brothers, Paul (Dottie), and Donnie (Marilyn); brother-in-law, Otho Jones; many nieces, nephews; and his dear friends, Donna and Clark Dixon – his “old camp buddies”. Besides his parents, Maurice was predeceased by his sisters, Enid and Cynthia; brother-in-law, Louis; and niece, Nancy. Thank you to all the staff at Surf Lodge for their wonderful care over the last 10 years of Maurice’s life and especially during his final days. We will always remember your kindness.
And, as Maurice would say… “I’m still the boss around here!!”
There will be a funeral service held, Wednesday, September 13, at 2 pm, at the H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, with Pastor Andrew Violette officiating. Interment to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Woods Harbour. Memorial donations may be made to Surf Lodge or a charity of choice.
