Obituary
Passed away peacefully at his residence in Owen Sound on Monday, September 25, 2023. Born in North Bay, Ontario on December 26, 1938, Maurice Boire of Owen Sound, was in his 85th year.
Beloved husband of the late Claudette Boire (nee Lacoste). Loving father of Lise Boire of Port Elgin. Cherished grandpa of Jade, Talon and Aysia Johnsen of Port Elgin and great-grandfather of Bronson and Wells Jongkind of Port Elgin. Moe will also be missed by nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Rene and Agnes Boire (nee Charette).
In keeping with Moe’s wishes, cremation is taking place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, (please check the funeral home website for update of service date). Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
