Obituary of Mary Catherine Townsley

It is with great sadness we announce that Mary passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre after a brief illness on Saturday, July 29, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Larry Townsley (1992). Cherished mother of Rob Townsley (Sarah) of Holland Landing and Stacey Tanyeri (Haci) of Mississauga. Very proud Nana of Adam, Adil, and Salih. Dear sister of Ann Graham (Jack), Jane Lindsay, Patrick Hodgins and Thomas Hodgins (Kelly). Special Sister-in-Law of Bonnie Knappett, Beverly Hodgins and Nick Townsley (Marie). Predeceased by her brothers Michael Hodgins and Joseph Hodgins. Mary will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Southlake Regional Health Centre for their exceptional care and our friends and family that have supported us during this time. Memorial visitation will be held at the MW Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 12:30 – 1:30 pm followed by celebration of Mary’s life at 1:30 p.m. In memory of Mary, donations made to Southlake Regional Health Centre would be appreciated.
