Mary Virginia Farmer Evans LaBonte– age 79 of Knoxville passed away Friday, January 13, 2023.
Preceded in death by husband, Alfred “Joe” LaBonte; and parents, Bill and Leolla (Toddle) Long Farmer.
Survived by daughters, Abbe Lee Evans, Lucia (Steve) Owens, Beth (Prue) LaBonte, Kelly (Randy) Cole; brothers, Billy (Lois) Farmer and Stephen E. Farmer; sister, Carol Farmer Moberly; nephews, Stephen M. (Jessica) Farmer, Matthew (Victoria) Moberly; great nieces, Gracie, Ella and Molly Farmer, Charlotte and Lilly Moberly; great nephew, Silas Farmer; grandchildren, Zack, Chelsey, Adam, Sam, Stephanie, Will; and 3 great grandchildren.
Mary was a neighborhood mom to many children in Inskip-Norwood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pat Summitt Foundation, 520 W. Summit Hill Drive, Suite 1101, Knoxville, TN 37902.
The family will receive friends 10:00-12:00 PM on Monday, January 16, 2023, at Bridges Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM. The service will be live-streamed securely on the Bridges Funeral Home Website. Family and friends will then travel in procession to Long Family Cemetery in Washburn for the graveside service.
