Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving daughters at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s on Friday, February 23, 2024, Mary Seward of Mount Pearl, formerly Hodge’s Cove, age 89 years. Predeceased by her parents John & Elizabeth Stringer; husband Nathan; son Weldon; grandson Dylan; siblings Blanche Shaw (Walter), Samuel Stringer (Janie) and Cecil Stringer (Marcella). Left with fond and loving memories are her daughters Alexandra N. (Randy) and Roxanne Seward and daughter-in-law Colleen Balsom Seward (Dale); grandchildren April Balsom Barrett (Sheldon), Evan Seward, Nicole Seward (Rebecca) and Marshall Seward; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Cremation will take place with a memorial service to be held at a later date. Special thank you to 7 west doctors, nurses and staff at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital.
