Mary Lou Nicoll Obituary
With a heavy heart we announce the passing of Mary Lou Nicoll (Herlick) on May 21, 2024.
Mary Lou was born in Stratford, Ontario, daughter of John and Gladys Herlick (Witt). For the past 60 years, she resided on a small hobby farm in Oxford county.
Mary Lou is missed by her loving husband of 64 years, Gord. Survived by her son Chris and daughter Cassie Strawbridge (James), grandchildren Justin, Stacey, Chloe, Colton, great grandchildren Lily, Tyson, and Hazel along with many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by siblings June McNamara, Robert Herlick, Elaine Sharpe, Don Herlick, and John Herlick.
She enjoyed living in the country tending to her numerous flower beds alongside her many furry companions. A favourite activity in later years was driving her golf cart around the ponds and trails with one of the dogs by her side.
Many thanks to the staff at People Care, Tavistock for their support during her few years residing there.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy can be made to The Alzheimer Society of Perth County.
