It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Pittman of Marystown announces her passing. Mary passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at the age of 82.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her partner Alfred Thorne; son, Ernest (Sandra) Pittman; daughters, Betty ((Edward) Pardy and Yvonne (Jim) Williams; 17 grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren; sister, Stella (Philip) Pittman; special friends, Don, Joan and Mary; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Patrick; sons, Perry, Eddy and Bob Pittman; parents, Ernest and Elizabeth Flannigan; brother, Allan Flannigan; sister in laws, Martha Flannigan and Rose Barry
The Pittman Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Marystown on:
Tuesday, September 17th at
10:00am to 12:00pm
2:00pm to 4:00pm
7:00pm to 9:00pm
A funeral service will take place at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes – Marystown on:
Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 1:30pm.
Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery – Marystown.
In Mary’s memory, donations may be made to the family for a gift to the SPCA (EMTs can be sent to bettypardy69@gmail.com) or flowers gratefully accepted.
