The Family of Mary Gertrude Speer sadly announce that surrounded by her loved ones she passed on Monday, January 2, 2023 at Carleton Manor Woodstock, New Brunswick.
Mary was born in Canterbury, NB on April 7, 1927 to the late Arch and Bessie Grant.
She is survived by her daughters Lois McLean, Sharon Culberson (Murray), daughter- in- law Carol Speer,
Her grandchildren Jeff (Crystal) Speer, Darren (Kathryn) Speer, Lori Speer, Shelley (Stavros Konstantinidis) McLean, Lisa (Dan) McLean Gallagher, Andrea McLean, Mark Culberson.
Great Grandchildren Meghan (Nathan Salmon) McLean, Jordan Gallagher, Logan Speer, Jared Speer, Rylee Speer, Evan Speer, Garret Speer.
Great Great grandson Alexander Speer. Sister- in- law Ruth Grant. Step Grandchildren, Patrick McCormick, Colin McCormick and Ben McCormick.
Also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
Predeceased by husband Kenneth, son Neal Speer, Son- in- law James McLean, Sister Alice and brothers Lloyd and Arthur Grant.
The family would like to take this time to thank the staff of Carleton Manor And especially those on Glen Arbour for their loving care they have given mom the last three years.
The funeral for Mary Speer will be held at the Culberson Memorial Chapel Home 188 Connell Street, Woodstock, NB, Thursday, January 5, ,2023 at 2 pm with visitation 1 hour prior to service, with Rev. Goodfellow officiating.
In Lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made to Carleton Manor Foundation, Kidney Foundation or charity of donor’s choice.
Interment will be held at a later date at Woodstock Rural Cemetery, Houlton Street, Woodstock, NB
