FERENCICH, Mary
Always in God’s care, Mary Ferencich passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at the age of 83. Born and raised in Niagara Falls, Mary was the dear daughter of the late John and Katherine Ferencich and loving sister of the late Tom and Nick. She is survived by her family in Burlington. Dear sister-in-law of June Ippolito (Tony), nephews Michael (Wendy), Matthew (Val) and David (Gen). Mary always enjoyed, had much fun with and loved being great aunt to Benjamin, Sarah, Jack, Liam, Nicolette, Sirena, and Catherine. All her life Mary was blessed with many good friendships, especially the Surla Family and Gloria Shaxton. She was employed for 14 years by Empire Crafts and then Oneida Canada Ltd. for 28 years, retiring in 1999. Beyond family and friends Mary enjoyed many crafts and hobbies especially her miniature dolls house. A longtime fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, she was interested in and enjoyed all sports. Since 1974 she was a member of St. Thomas More Church.
The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St., Niagara Falls, on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., Funeral Mass to follow and will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Church, 6548 Dorchester Rd, Niagara Falls at 11 a.m. The Rite of Committal at Lundy’s Lane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donation to either NHF – GNGH site or to St. Thomas More Church. Memories, photos and condolences can be shared at www.morseandson.com
