Mary Ellen (McLaughlin) Michaud
1963-2023
It is with tremendous sadness the family of Mary Michaud
announce her passing on August 11, 2023 at the Edmundston Regional
Hospital. She was born in 1963 in Grand Falls, NB to the late Hubert
and Joan (Watson) McLaughlin.
Mary will be lovingly remembered by her only son, Mitchell
Baker (Kate Garnett), her precious grandchildren, Isaac, Destiny,
Evva, Ethyn, Elyza and Emmett. She is also survived by her siblings,
Hugh McLaughlin (Jean) of Saint John, Norma Baker (Stillman) of
Morrell Siding, Carol Buchanan (Leigh) of Lakeville, Stephen
McLaughlin (Kim) of Morrell Siding, Grace Dixon (Anthony) of Limestone
Siding, Damon McLaughlin (Patricia) of Limestone, her uncle Eveleigh
Watson (Anne-Marie) of Undine, nieces and nephews.
Mary was predeceased by her parents, Hubert and Joan, her
loving husband Donald Michaud in 2020, her beloved daughter Monica Ann
Baker in 2012 and her brother Frederick McLaughlin in
2023.
Mary had an enormous heart of gold filled with love and
generosity for her family. She loved a good hockey game but even more
a good joke. In times of better health she and Don made many memories
on the 4-wheeler, fishing, hunting and loving every
minute.
Resting at O’Regan’s Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd.,
Grand Falls with visiting hours on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
and Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.
Her funeral service will be held Wednesday August 16th at 11
a.m. from the St-Michel Roman Catholic Church in Drummond with
interment in the parish cemetery.
For those who wish, donations to the SPCA or a charity of the
donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
