HARRISON, Mary Ann
With great sadness, we announce the sudden death of Mary Ann Harrison (Fekonja) of
Milton, who passed on June 9th, 2023, at age 56, at Trillium Hospital with her family
by her side.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents Josip and Anna Fekonja, and survived by her
brothers Joe and Peter Fekonja and many relatives.
She is the loving and devoted Mother of Luke, Emily, Kayla and Jacob. The cherished wife
of Mark Harrison. A beloved friend of many, along with her shared bond with her dearest
companion, Miko.
Mary’s greatest joy in life was being the mother of quadruplets, sharing and embracing life
with her children alongside her husband. She was a caring and selfless woman, putting those
around her first. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; cooking, dancing, travelling and a
good glass of wine or a warm cup of coffee. Mary was not only a wonderful mother and wife
but also a charismatic, loving force of energy. As a family, we share devastation and
heartache of the loss of our mother, a wife, a beautiful woman. Words will not express the
sorrow we carry in having to experience life without her here, where she most certainly
belonged.
The visitation will be held at McKersie & Early Funeral Home, 114 Main St. E., in Milton on
Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. There will be a Church service on Thursday, June 15th
at 10am at the Croatian Martyrs Parish in Mississauga followed by the burial at the Milton Evergreen Cemetery.
