In loving memory of Mary Amell, passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at the age of 80 years, after a brave fight with cancer. Daughter of the late Clarence and late Kathleen (née Ready) Amell. Loving mother of Kathleen Bartlett (Werner). She will be sadly missed by her siblings David (Zorina), Fred (Dale), Marie (late Larry) and Donna (Richard). Special walking friend to Claudette Vrab who was like another sister to her. Special thank you to all her caring neighbors who helped her, Rita, Denise, Brenda, Bud and Robert. Equally missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Mary was an avid walker and went on many enjoyable trips with the Nickel City Walkers. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury on Friday, May 31, 2024 from 1 to 2 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
