It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Marsha Ritchie passed away suddenly on Friday, April 19, 2024. Marsha was born May 19, 1958 in North Bay, Ontario.
Marsha leaves behind her daughters Millissa Ritchie (Mick) and Brandy Morris (Jack). Loving grandmother to Jeremy Hewitt (Chanell), Corrianna Spiegelberg (Graham), and Casey Spiegelberg. Loving partner of Dan O’Rourke. Survived by her sisters Betty Ann (Jim) Bradley and Linda (Jim) Commanda. She is predeceased by her parents Robert and Eleanor Ritchie and her brother Murray Ritchie (2023). Marsha was a much loved aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Marsha lived her life on her own terms; full of spice and an amazing generous heart. Her career as a breakfast cook at Falls Manor and various other restaurants spilled over into her retired life. Always wanting to help and feed people, she would make cookies and dinners for other people to enjoy; often her neighbours and friends at Buckley Tower. Marsha was the most giving individual, often putting others’ needs above her own.
In keeping with Marsha’s wishes, cremation has taken place following a private family gathering. There will be no formal services. Family was everything to her so, in lieu of flowers or donations the family asks for everyone to have a dinner with their loved ones.
