God called for Maroulla on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at the age of 95, peacefully passing away at Elm Grove Living Centre. She will be reunited in Heaven with her loving husband, Charilaos (2010). Loving mother of Joanna Andreou (Stelios), Andrew (Sotira), Rita Themistocleous (Socrates), and Chris (Susanne). Proud yiayia of Andrea (Peter), Marios (Evie), Maria (Demos), Andrea (Petros), Harrison (Diana), Helen, George, Maria-Chara (Leonidas), Elisabeth, Christiane, Johanna and the late Harris. Adored great grandmother of Stella, Alexander, Sofia, Andriana, Elina, Sotiris, Chloe, Margarita, and Cleo. Beloved sister to late Andreas (Chrystalla), and late Kleanthea. She will be held dear in the heart of her sister Eleni (pre-deceased Theodoros), and brother George (Magda). She will be fondly remembered by all her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in Canada and abroad.
Visitation will be held at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, East of the Jane Subway, on Monday, August 7th from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be held at the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 136 Sorauren Avenue, Toronto, on Tuesday, August 8th at 11 a.m. Burial will proceed at Interment Park Lawn Cemetery.
