Marlene Lynette Donahee
1953-2024
The passing of the late Marlene Lynette (Boles) Donahee of
Lawrence Station NB, beloved wife of David J. Donahee occurred at the
Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on January 20, 2024. Born at
St. Stephen NB on May 17, 1953, she was a daughter of Florence B.
(Logan) Boles and the late Marvin O. Boles.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, she is
survived by her loving husband David, mother Florence Boles of Flume
Ridge, her daughters: Lisa Donahee (Wilfred Brunelle) of Lawrence
Station NB and Janice (Herbert) Jesso of Upper Mills NB, her
grandchildren: Coady Donahee-Brunelle (Kylie Johnson), Dale
Donahee-Brunelle and Sophie Jesso, her siblings: Janet Bean of Moncton
NB, Sheridan (Debbie) Boles and Larry (Lisa) Boles both of Flume Ridge
NB, sisters in law: Sally Guptill of Lawrence Station and
Carol Stewart of Oak Bay NB, special friend Joyce Laking as well as
several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father
Marvin.
Marlene was employed at the Atlantic Superstore in St.
Stephen NB in the produce department for a number of years. When at
home, she can be found caring for her beloved David as well as baking
in her kitchen, or lost in a good book. Marlene also loved her family
and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and
loved travelling across the province with them. She will be sadly
missed by her family and friends.
In keeping with her wishes there will be no service. In
Marlene’s memory, donations to the New Brunswick Lung
Association, IWK or New Brunswick Mental Health.
