MARLENE FLORENCE FORD (BAKER)
DECEMBER 13, 1942 – JUNE 4, 2023
Marlene Florence Ford (Baker) passed away peacefully at Sakura House in Woodstock surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at the age of 80 years. Marlene is survived by her husband Jack Veit, children Blair Sutton, Brent Sutton and Laurie (Billy) Henitiuk and step-children Terry (Shelly) Veit, Scotti Veit and Don. Proud grandmother of numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Myrna (Bill) Rushton, Gary Baker, sisters-in-law Holly Carson and Joy Milmine. Marlene is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Walter and Eileen Baker, her son Bradley Sutton, daughter Kim Sutton, siblings Walter Baker Jr., Bernard Baker, Lenny Baker, Dennis Baker, Virginia Schimmens and Sterling Szabo. In keeping with Marlene’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at the Tillsonburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to VON Sakura House may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with Marlene’s arrangements.
