Marlene Bozich (nee Hogan) December 8, 1957 – June 4, 2024.
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the age of 66 after a courageous and hard-fought battle with cancer. Beloved wife and soulmate to Daniel Bozich. Dearly loved mother of Brooke (Ken) Bateman-Winter and Brent Bateman. Stepmother to Josh and Blayne Bozich. Cherished Grandma of Miller Bateman and Athena Bozich. Predeceased by her parents Terrence Hogan (1997) and Sylvia Hogan (2024). Survived by her sisters Terryl Shira and Tamra Hogan. She will be missed by brothers and sisters-in-law John Bozich (Jenn), Anne Thornborrow (Tom), Mary Ann (Bob-2021) Harris, Fran Drury (Rick), Dave Bozich (Diane), Paul Bozich (Bev) and Peter Bozich. Predeceased by brother-in-law Ed Bozich. Lovingly remember by her large extended family, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A special word of thanks to her closest friends Debbie, Joanne, and Doreen for a lifetime of love and support as well as her friend Terry for all of her love and care. Through her long career at CIBC Marlene met many wonderful customers and co-workers. Marlene and Dan enjoyed spending time in Algonquin camping, bike riding, hiking and canoeing. Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the oncology team at Joseph Brant Hospital.
A private immediate family service to celebrate the life of Marlene to occur at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main St., Niagara Falls, on Monday June 10, 2024, at 1pm. Friends will be invited to a celebration of Marlene’s life to be announced at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish, in lieu of flowers may make a memorial donation to the Canadian Cancer Society. Memories, photos and condolences may be shared at www.morseandson.com.
