Obituary of Mark Stanton

With sadness, the family announces that Mark passed away peacefully at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital in Ottawa on Tuesday afternoon, September 17, 2024; Mark Allan Stanton of Ashton was only 57. Beloved husband of Sheri (nee Thomlison). Loved father of Sarah, “the apple of his eye». Mark is also survived by his brother, Brian as well as sisters: Connie Guay (Leo), Shelley Farrell (Dale), Lynn Stanton (Nas Mohamed) and Heather Millerwood (late Chris). Predeceased by his parents, Allan and Letitia “Tish” (nee Herrick) Stanton as well as his brother, Pat (Louise). Survived by sister-in-law Deb Mantil (Jim), bother-in-law Tyler Thomlison (Christine). Fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family extend heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Dr. Earl Gordon as well as the nurses and staff at the QCH ICU and Palliative Care team for their kind and compassionate care of Mark.
Mark’s final arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the
Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior.
A private graveside service will take place at the Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior.
